Not for me, I am used to drinking wine mostly the way others drink beer, that is when I am thirsty

Not drinking it now (so possibly wrong thread) but I have had this for 30+ years. Should I:

1). Keep it?
2). Sell it?
3). Drive to Chateau d’Yquem, get it tasted and re-corked, then keep it?
4). As above, then sell it?
5). Drink it?
6). Put in the GTS?

What is the level? (Where sits the wine in the bottle neck, from the colour I suspect it is below the base of the neck?)
This will affect the decision, and more importantly the value. It looks extremely dark, even for a ‘57.

The cork on its sister bottle fell in some years ago. The wine was lower in the bottle and it was equally brown. We had no choice other than to drink it - it was perfect

Had never heard of one until now - just looked it up but certainly don’t have one
