The tour is really interesting. I’m not really a whiskey fan though.

Thing is about whisky (and beer tours, and most of the making tours, frankly) is once you've seen one, you've pretty much seen them all. All whisky is made the same way. All wine. All beer. And so on. Sure there are minor variations, but they are just that, minor.

However, the whisky is great!

Not sure I agree some of them are more impressive than others. Weston’s Cider have these huge vats that are 100 years old. 109813

I also love the engineering behind Jack Daniel’s storage sheds and how they have to place the barrels in such a way that the structure remains stable and plan that 10 years in advance. There might be better drinks but the engineering is superb.

Well yes, essentially they all take plant products, ferment them to make alcohol and in some cases distil to make stronger. Which is why you’re all fools paying so much money for whiskey, gin and wine when you can go down the dispensing chemist and get a bottle of alcohol for £5. o_O
