Pretty much expected, I wonder if we're a jinx. Saw Dave Gilmour's (actual) last.

Turn it on is a great track

PC doesn’t look well at all but hopefully he will be around for many years yet. I notice in recent years one of the mouthy Gallagher sister’s has had a dig at him but she could only dream of having as much talent as PC.
Oasis were big in Rochdale but not in New York or LA where it matters.

Sadly while he might be around for a while (which he can all hope), his capability has definitely been impacted by his recent issues.

And when it comes to more modern 'super' groups commenting on the 'oldies' I will refer to my post on the (tragic) Foo Fighters thread.....

Our view from Genesis on the last night! Not quite front row that we had in Berlin!
Our mates had Amex VIP seats - say no more but at least we walked in with them and avoided the long queues.

this is from 2016 , busker Stephen Barry unknowingly duets with a professional singer and they create something truly magical

No idea what's going on with the people walking by , I'd have missed my train if I'd been there

Deacon Blue, a greatest hits thingy, bloody good and reminds me of first passing my test and driving an old shed around without a care in the world

Where was the row behind you , in the car park

I said I'd never go to another large gig after U2 in 2010 , they're so disappointing, especially stadiums

U2 Man city ground , level with the side of the stage but it was like being in the sky we were that far away

2 weeks later saw them again at Twickenham but in the segregated area at the front , same show , I'm never one for jumping about , especially when sober but it was so electric I couldn't keep still , a totally different experience to the other show , being part of it , not just watching it .

We were literally back row. Looooooooooong way up!

Back in the day you could get a seat at the front if you were quick with the phone , today it's how deep your pockets are, and don't get me started on meet & greet where idiots pay a small fortune to stand in the room with them and receive some 'exclusive' ****.

I got tickets 4 rows back to see steven wilson in 2018, a row of 15 seats in the 2nd row were empty , either somebody's minibus broke down, corporate didn't want to go or the touts over estimated the demand
