What shape will the car industry be in after all this?

What will be funny is when the car industry start reporting massive sales growth in Q3 and Q4 up say 5000% on Q1 and Q2

Ok, crazy times but lets say dealers/ manufacturers decide its better to sell at some price, and keep the prod. lines going, and offer something like 50% off, what would you buy?
50% off?

Put options on car manufacturers!

I'd like to own a Ferrari before I pop my clogs but as I'm 6'4" there's none I can get in and out of without making an appointment for the doc afterwards. Poss the venerable 400/412 but they're too dear now and I bet not that fast....

I’m actually looking to replace my wife’s 17 reg Audi A4 Avant which is coming to the end of my PCP deal very soon. I’m patiently waiting to rip some main dealers a new ***hole

I neglected to replace my leased Jag XF which went back in Jan, opting instead to pick up an absolute shed for peanuts (Honda Prelude) in the hope that I can run it for a year for minimal outlay and save for a GT as a 40th birthday present next Jan. So far (touch wood) that has been a solid move. Zero spend other than the usual insurance tax and petrol and even then it’s been parked up for the last 6 weeks.
Crossing my fingers the current situation helps me stretch my £30k budget to a tidy 2013 facelift S but at the back of my mind I’m wondering if such an extravagant purchase can be justified. The classic heart v head conundrum!

Of course it can’t be justified.

What spec will you buy?

(heart/trouser decisions for the win!)

It can’t be justified but,
After lock down - My Mrs has declared she needs:
A full hairdo, roots too whatever they are,
Nails done,
Toe nails too apparently,
Eye lashes added,
Botox reinforced,
And a ****** varicose vein tweeked!
wtf!
I could run a V8 cheaper.

Can someone please invent a virus that targets beauticians specifically and indefinitely.
I need a go fund me page.

Makes most of us blokes quite low maintenance really and no need to fret over our own guilty pleasures.

something like this:
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202004279085251View attachment 69681

but Auto rather than MC shift. Blue/ dark colour exterior, tan/ light interior, and as far south of £30k as possible, to be able to get sign off from the domestic line manager!

Wonderful! That'd be a rare spec, with any gearbox. I've always been amazed that more weren't spec'd like that, because it really does suit the car so very well.

Have a chat with Dicky at Richard Grace Cars and Nareman at Nuvola.

You need an F12 on medical grounds. I could write you a doctors note :)
