Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta Tyres.
Looks like you can get the complete set for £500, 18" for the 4200/3200
Anyone tried them appear good value for money for a mid range tyre.

Yup, run them myself, popular on here, but avoid any potholes, they get damaged easily...ie steel band nips tyre against rim more easily than others

Just bought 2 rears @ £270.00. Seem to have reasonable reviews considering the price

Hi Mike

I have them on my 3200 and am really impressed with them. I used to also use them on my 944 Turbo and was always impressed with grip and wet weather ability.

£ per performance I prefer them to much more expensive brands

I got a great deal on mine from Camskill Tyres online

Cheers

I currently run them on my Boxster and have been impressed, I can't notice much difference between them and CSC3's and Goodyear Aesymetrics i used previously, although i'd say the Goodyear's were slightly better in the wet but not much difference and they're great value

That's very good if the tyres are good. I paid £315 for two rears if I recall correctly. Falken 453

Loads of the guys on RS246 who own Audi RS4/6 etc swear by these tyres.I think other tyres offer slightly better grip or more wear, but these by all accounts do everything you could want from a performance tyre at a very reasonable cost.

Yeah, so many high profile brands little or no better then so many mid priced tyres.....vote with your hard earned pounds guys!

I think I'm going to try these next time. It's a toss up between these and the Goodyear F1 assymetric 2.
