For someone like myself who doesn’t have to go into London but use to enjoy looking in Tower Records or browsing shops with a wider selection than where I live and along comes the internet and there was no need to venture into London to pay ott prices but still enjoyed a day out now and again. So like most towns and cities they started struggling and needed all the help they could get to keep them going, along comes Khan with a hammer and nails to make sure the coffin is fully shut.

I use the trains often here in France as a over 60 the prices are very good minimal cost for first class and choose your seat.
Never use the Metro cheap enough to take a Taxi as in Paris no meters it's fixed prices makes it the way to do it for me.

Oh yes. I've always been a bit of a walker. Use the tube to get into town, but seldom to get around (unless is persisting with rain or something)

If you remember in the nineties the labour PM gorgon Brown introduced the speed cameras to the u/k saying that it will save lives wot a load of bull**** that was we now have them in every street in the u/k this was all about ripping off motorist.

Now we got another labour lefty mayor who is trying the same scam on the people of London with the same bull**** i will introduce ULEZ wether u like it or not because it will save lives and raise me loads of cash .

The people of london could do a Donald Trump on him and stich him up in the courts and force him to resign as mayor now that would be funny.

Do a Donald Trump on him? Pray tell what crimes has the Great Khan* done? Election fraud? Business Fraud? Tax evasion? Hush money to a prostitute? State secrets in his loo?

You do know that this ULEZ funds doesn't go to his back pocket right? This isn't Russia.

Was listening to a lackey of the Khan of Khan's* explaining why Classics are ULEZ compliant and a pug 106 wasn't. He explained it as classic cars are not driven that often and it was easier to import the DVLA ANPR register wholesale than pick out individual makes and models as compliant or not. So London will become a city of EVs, new cars, but shed loads of Classics. Might be worth investing in a Bora or Merak.
