Hi,
This morning the car was covering in a thin sheet of ice. I open up the car, turn the key, wait for all the systems to do their thing and the lights to go out. I then turn the key and nothing at all happens. I remove the key and go through the process again. Again nothing. I do it all again and again nothing. Then there is a long single beep from the dash. Cr a p, I think. I open and close the drivers door. I leave it 30seconds and try again, again nothing and again the long single beep from the dash area.
I open and close the driver's door a few times but was not sure if i could hear the F1 Pump priming whine due to the noise of the traffic.
I went back in the house and left it for a few minutes and went back to the car.
I opened the driver's door, definitely heard the pump prime, turned the key, waited for the light to go out, then turned the key and it started and sounded fine. But there was the long single beep.
The car drove absolutely fine and acted normally. The battery has recently been replaced. The car has recently been serviced, which included gearbox fluid and a new lambda.
Any idea what caused this? Was it the cold weather causing something not to function properly.
There were no warning lights. The gear changes were normal, as they have been. So I'm not sure what it was.
Thanks
