Just watching The Grand Tour /// Gas, gas, gas, (S2E7) Lamborghini Performante and Lancia vs Audi 037 tribute and honestly, it blows current TG into the weeds!

So how many times did they drive along the fell road to Caldbeck in the first part... and for those who know the road to the ferry, huge continuity error as Flintofs near miss round that sharp left hander is only 1000m from the ferry, yet he arrived after Paddy... did he stop to get a cup of tea at the NT cafe by the lake!

Quite enjoyed, obviously Chris comes from the posh side of town - even Flintoff with a GL Cortina was a set up from us we had to make do with a 1.6L

I enjoyed it but the researchers would have had difficulties with my Dad's car, a white Renault 12 estate...
Maybe his 1980's choices would have been easier. Morris Ital, Fiat Regatta or Uno. I think he had a Tipo too

Thought it was quite tedious and a poor copy of a Grand Tour episode where GT did much the same but far more amusingly and with greater insight into the cultural impact of the particular car badging/specification. Switched off before the end. Hope it gets better.

My first car was an E21 316, same colour as the 323i. I bought it for £595 with my student loan, it was that or a stereo! Loved it to bits. My 2nd car was an E21 320 auto in gold, loved that even more as it had the 4 headlights. Couldn't afford a 323i, nor the insurance! I nearly bought an Alpina E21 a few years ago for £12k but I thought it was too much money. I bet it's worth more than that now!

Nice to see an e21 on TV but the "dads car" carp got extremely tedious very quickly.

Haven't seen it but have seen clips.
Loved the E21 back in the 80's earnt me some serious cash the 6 cylinder ones buying them damaged or with cracked heads it was easy to make a Grand a car back then all fixed in my tandem garage and on the driveway.
