Agree about the Huracan, Lambo lost soul and box shifting now. Never thought I'd see the day!

I quite enjoyed that. Hammond coming a cropper was good to see as was Clarkson trashing a flower bed. Nice post script of the Stig trying to get at the Porsche; some say he is deluded, and that proves it.

Concur Ian, enjoyed that, the old format aint too bad as long as they don't try to be too smart-AR5ISH!

I loved the "evolved" Gallardo ( Huracan), thought it was an epic car if not too off the wall to look at.

7/10

I liked the flower bed bit too....

Not a bad start to a 10 week run!

The 'race' was a waste of time. Pointless and unfunny. Loved the Huracan, especially in that colour. It's the only Lambo I've ever thought I'd like to own (slight budget shortfall, though!). Thought Ed Sheeran did well for somebody who'd never driven a car before that day.

The only thing for me was that when they compared it to other mad Lambo's they showed Aventadors, Murcielago, etc but not the car the Huracan replaces......Well if you want the wild Lambo you can still get one in the form of the Aventador.......The Gallardo was a mad Lambo either .....

Not too bad, lets hope they keep the silliness in check.

I quite like the Huracan, it's about time Lambo made a car that was actually useable and Green is a great colour.

I laughed at their Chile badges. No doubt someone from Argentina will complain :)

I agree with Hammond on the Huracan. Where's the passion? It's just an Audi with a Lambo badge. Impressive engineering is not enough in that sector when things like the 458, FF, MCS etc exist.

Cringed when the messed up the flower bed. Cringed more when Hammond crashed the Pinarello.

It was an old style Top Gear and much the better for it.

Indeed not out there enough. Looking at it from the back it has no lines at all. Looks really bland and Eurobox a bit like an Audi or SLR styling which is not a good look at all. COmpared to the Likes of the LP670 etc it looks so dull.

TG was very good, enjoyed it. Felt for Hammond on the bike, its not half nasty when you come off and I too had the same happen to me down Chichester high street, getting the front wheel stuck in the old tram track.

Lambo was nice albeit just a posh Audi now.

Ze Germans, when will they ever learn that there is more to a car than fit, finish and reliability, they make good cars....just not great cars!

Will this Audi influence make thd Lambo a sensible purchase second hand without the inherent risk of losing you life savings?

Therefore entirely defeating the purpose of the brand for me. If it's OK to mention Lambo and sensible in the same sentence, something has gone wrong. It should be a massive event to drive, to look at and to own. With amazing adrenalin rushes on one hand the fear of financial ruin on the other.

Yep i agree. The Huracan appears to be similar to many performance cars of today in the sense that it is very fast and capable but not very inspiring or exciting. The latest BMW M cars are another case in point. It just isn't mad enough to be a proper Lambo!

Can't argue with the lap time the Stig got out of it though.
