Radio just confirmed the rest of the series is cancelled...

BBC News are saying the final episode is 'unlikely' to be screened.

Interesting conundrum for them. He's worth millions to the corporation, but it seems unlikely they can let him get away with hitting someone (if that's what he did)

BBC now need to work out how to resurrect their cash cow

Sell the pre-recorded items as DVD's and cancel the expensive studio stuff? I smell a rat..

Still not sure why the other two can't run with the rest of the series - there's plenty of presenters out there. What about that German Van driving Nurburgring woman? That would really p off Clarkson

BBC news is saying a punch was thrown, I can't see him recovering from that. He had his final warning last year.

For me the program needs to be reformatted and reborn into something closer to a motoring program. As cheesy as he is, Ive been watching the Classic car show on Channel 5 with Quentin Wilson and Jodie Kidd. Not great and it its early days but a nice departure from all the tomfoolery on TopGear.

It was, apparently, a catering issue. After a day's filming, an assistant producer (Oisin Tymon) hadn't organised any food so he got a bit of 'percussion therapy' to remind him to do his job. It would appear that Clarkson isn't himself when he's hungry, he should have had a Snicker.

Agree on both counts.
TG has run its course in present format and CCS needs to develop, but the later is at least all about cars not staged clips which have cars in them.

Agree that the current format has more than run its course; it's time for a rebirth with some fresh ideas. There have been some sparkling moments in this series, but equally some incredibly dire footage shown. And I've seen Benny beaming at me from the screen, which hasn't helped... ;)

The CCS video clips are good but the sofa sessions with Wilson and Kidd are cringingly awful IMHO; a reminder of how good Clarkson / May / Hammond are together (except when they descend into 13 year old humour).

Celebrities...............only exist because of an adoring or more dangerous fawning public.........so why be surprised when these types of issues develop?

Goose that lad the golden egg.........is JC going to get his neck wrung, and does he care?

Is that the long haired hippy fella who came on at the beginning to introduce them all?

Clarkson sold his share of TG back to the BBC back in 2010 so we now own the show. If it fails Clarkson is sitting pretty with our money where as the BBC is left with a worthless assets that it paid a fortune for.

Sounds familiar
