The discs on the photo of your car are cross drilled but the photo on the ap brakes website shows solid discs. Are the discs for the 550 always cross drilled?

Brembo Ferrari 550 Disc.jpg

This is they in drawing form.

If you contact AP Brakes, mention the Sports Maserati Forum and they could do you a special price, no promises..!!

Are the front, and the back discs the same as the 550?
Curious, are the calipers and pads the same too?

Any one got a source for either a good place to refurb the calipers or good price for replacements? i think a couple of mine are sticking, its not bad just now but unlikely to get better!!

Not sure if you can measure the piston sizes for the seals as I have a supplier for brembo parts. Otherswise if u fancy taking it off and send it I ll have go. I do this on a regular basis on motorbikes. I suspect there is corrosion on the dust seal groove which jams the piston and stops it retracting

Bill, is this corrosion because this part is masked during painting and so is exposed unpainted alloy?

Hukent,
Have you compared Mintex with others, if so what is your opinion..??
Cheers

We've done back to back testing with various rally cars over the years, Mintex ALWAYS come out on top.
They out perform all the others, in every aspect.
