Get it inspected. It’s nice to have peace of mind from day 1 of ownership. Plus any repairs can be expensive which will potentially add significantly to the sale price. As someone has already pointed out, this is an auto version so at least you won’t have to worry about clutch wear !

Lots of speed camera's now have sound sensors fitted, any overly loud nonsense and your done, 3 points on your license even if you were not speeding!

Doubt it will bother me in the remote wilds of Cumbria then.
Noisiest thing here is low flying fighter jets.
Mine is relatively quiet if I am just cruising so if you know where they are I could just come off the gas and go by. I get the idea in cities especially at night.

I understood that this was a proposal from 2019 made by some idiot minister who didn't understand acoustics ... and as such was never adopted.

And far to easy to challenge ..... a huge truck rumbled past just as I was passing at 29mph m'lud ;)

Let's hope so, but I can see Citizen Khan wanting them in the smoke.

I notice in the advert for this car it states 'Twin Dual Pipe Exhaust System in Chrome-Plated Stainless Steel' is that the standard exhaust on a GT are they stainless steel and chrome plated?

I think the exhaust is all stainless with either chrome or black quad tips/ovals depending on model.

Hi everyone. I’m continuing on my hunt and you all are talking me into the Granturismo S! (https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202009083457209) - especially after a conversation with my Insurance, they revealed no difference in insurance prices between S and GT! Thank you all, honestly!
My M4 is great - quickest car I’ve had... but when that Maserati drove past me the noise oozed soul and character (hence why I’m here).
Hi
Now you are hooked suggest you go drive some. The measured difference between the niche models of Granturismo is lost on the real world outside this forum. The cavernous hole in finances if you buy a wrong 'un are understand any any domestic goddess. Not trying to put you off, far from it. Just get the big stuff checked, using paid-for inspection if you can walk away happy that a few hundred quid save you!

At this stage in the life of these cars I would adopt the message "buy the best example you can, try to forget the specific model or colour". [ from "911 virgin" 20+ years ago when I had to have an air-cooled 911]

I am happy with the 4.2 in my 2006 QP........until any meeting with folk from here. Then I really want a 4.7 QP / GT......until Matt starts up the Stradale , then I want to sell everything and get one. The drive home is spent plotting ways to found 40k I don't have.
One week later and any trip out in the QP is a total joy. Just putting the bins out means a chance to ogle those exhaust tips.
