Other pieces I picked up which don't appear to have been mentioned here were:
They are going to be building a paint shop at the plant in Modena for the new car(s) [Further evidence of separation from Ferrari?]
Cycle time on the production line is 25 minutes (compared to 45 seconds for the Nissan plant in Sunderland)
The pickups were being converted for the Italian Fire Brigade [Sounded a lot like this was a low profit contract that kept cash coming in and some workers busy while they wait for new car production in the plant to pick up]
I think the destination of production stats given in the OP are for the whole of Maserati production (i.e. including Ghibli and Levante). A fair amount of the GT/GC production in Modena seemed to be destined for the US / Japan.
They won’t let you park a 4C on the four court...& the security won’t be bribed with Haribo either!
Levante available with the Ferrari twin turbo V8 sounded fun....
I found it very meh especially as I'd just been to the Pagani factory before it. Different level of execution there! I did find the young lad who showed us around to be very knowledgable and passionate about the brand though.
We did Pagani beforehand too, the difference was noticeable but I thought both were really worthwhile and the differences marked out why a Pagani is 10x the price.
