Nikos, was saying when the GS came out in 2005 the shape was 7 years old........So yes it dates back a long time.......In fact if you take when the 3200 was first shown even longer...

You are right for 2013 Nikos....The shape is now 15 years old from the first time it was shown...........

It does Frank...But I'll say it softly...the 2002 4200 does look a tad dated these days....where as the GS and face lift car doesn't....Strange what a bigger grill and a few holes in a bumper can do.

I do actually like the surf boards on the GS, but not too sure on the bumpers.
The rear bumper on the 'Classico' ...and the Trofeo let's not forget...does have a lower 'wing'. Whether this works or not I don't know, but changing it for a bit of mesh instead is purely max power with no functionality. The same applies to the front bumper. It reminds me of the change from the series one Lotus Elise to the series two, non functional styling features with no functionality. Not really what the original designer intended.

I certainly look over my shoulder when I've parked up. I never did that with the GT. 156, I did, though.

I like the fact, although as cheap as chips at the moment my 3200GT is a true classic Maserati :) ...with none of the later car's girls blouse nonsence......

Dave, the one is for sure the 3200 will go down as the car that started bring Maserati back from the grave.....Without it good knows where they would be now. So yes agree a true classic and goods oone will be coverted.

So based on that theory Andy, which model will be the one to kill it off again, new QP or that hideous Kubang thingy (which it has all gone very quiet.)

I still can't get passed the new QP's engine cover. I know its only a bloomin engine cover but it really gets my goat....Maserati seem to be moving away from what makes it special, just like what Alfa did and look where they are now.

The way it should be:

Pics 2 and 3 for me please, Matt. Pure class. That first photo looks like a tranformer (robots in disguise) has moved into the engine bay.

Matt, agree with you..Waht the **** are they playing at...I get the push to sell more cars and make a profit but some things make all the difference and that big bit of plastic is terrible.......It may look Rosey for sales but not for the people who have keep Maserati going for years when many wouldn't touch them....But hey they are a business and as long as they sell cars I would imagine they are happy even if we are not.
