Feel so sorry for my staff having to work in old Victorian buildings and not being able to leave the doors open for any cool air.

Horrific! So sorry to hear that. Didn’t someone else on the forum have a similar experience walking home a couple of years ago?

Morning all, a bit battered since last time I posted. As mentioned by others I was hit by a Discovery whilst out for my morning walk, luckily my left arm took most of the force snapping off the wing mirror as it broke. I was then spun into the car on the right side and broke my right arm too. So both upper arms broken. left has had an op and has been pinned back to gather, right is a clean break so will be allowed to heal naturally. Two slings, a lot of pain, black and blue across the whole top half of my body but alive and likely to make a full recovery in time.

You never know what life is going to throw at you but it could have been so much worse

Yea, that was me, except for the breathing(lung damage) I'm nearly there.
The arsehole didn't show up for magistrates court last month, so the CPS is going to crown court in Sept.

8 broken ribs, damaged lungs, dislocated shoulder, damaged knee, neck/whiplash injury. .two weeks in hospital
7 months of intense physio... ok, I'm fitter and stronger than I would have been, but I wouldn't wish the trauma on anyone!

forgot you got hit and much worse injuries than me, only 2 days in hospital and 2 broken arms.

the driver did stop and took me to hospital and has offered to help out where he can

I wonder what engine is in it, so many have rover v8’s very few have Ford v8’s let alone 427.
A friend of mine has a superperformance Cobra, small block Ford stoker getting him to 427, about as good as it gets.
