Good Morning everyone and Well Done Newton and Son as they are not an easy car to work on compared with everything else.
Starting earlier as it's hot already 30 more blocks and the workshop is job jobbed.
Have a Great day all.

Morning all. In the Leeds office today for our monthly offsite. Going to be a long day as I'm driving home at the end of it.

Have a good one, all

Good morning, last day in Potsdam, after seeing pretty much everything I wanted to see and more, I think a lie down by a cool lake is in order. It's hot here too.

Morning all, when will I learn that welding without a shirt results in flash burns on the vastness of my gut! Not too serious but mildly salmon like! Very pleased to see the Boxter drive off and with such great feedback too. For those that know, RMS not IMS was a huge relief and an easy change when in there, I was able to make a setting tool in a few minutes by taking about 1mm off of the largest oil filter spanner in the set, gently settling it to within 0.03mm of perfection. Never felt the need to put a vernier on an oil seal in my life before, just driven them home by eye and feel.

Today will involve ropes in Thamesmead and starting and finishing at the yard with Nick working for me.

Have fun all…

Morning all, a bit battered since last time I posted. As mentioned by others I was hit by a Discovery whilst out for my morning walk, luckily my left arm took most of the force snapping off the wing mirror as it broke. I was then spun into the car on the right side and broke my right arm too. So both upper arms broken. left has had an op and has been pinned back to gather, right is a clean break so will be allowed to heal naturally. Two slings, a lot of pain, black and blue across the whole top half of my body but alive and likely to make a full recovery in time.

You never know what life is going to throw at you but it could have been so much worse

Wishing you a swift recovery - I broke both my arms once and I ended up rather pathetically having to ask neighbours for help taking lids off jars etc... they were both in their 80s.

Horrific! So sorry to hear that. Didn’t someone else on the forum have a similar experience walking home a couple of years ago?

For your wife's sake, I do hope you have a bidet!

Morning all. Another warm one out there today.
Lots going on, but I feel another early finish is in order to get back into the pool.
Hopefully it will have warmed up a little!

Hello everyone!
Grateful today for the aircon unit I bought last year as I'm going to be in my office all day. I do need to do some shopping ready for the lady's birthday this week, and some baking.
Meeting with the vicar this evening (intentionally on a separate line to anything about the lady!).
HapPea Tuesday! xXx
