Good morning everyone, normal day after being delayed getting back from Edinburgh yesterday due to severe weather. Didn't get home till 10... Aviation as travel will never catch on

Good Morning everyone, up early for a flying visit to Edinburgh...airport only again. I've probably been to EDI 10 times over the last three years and only seen the city twice.

Manic week ahead for me too. Good news is I've sold the Coupe, I'll let the new owner introduce themselves. So come next week I'll roll out the GT Sport.

Good news! Well done, MLC.

An afternoon meeting in the gin garden of The Rosewood, in Holborn. Happy days.

Well I got home after my 5am start and thought I’d read a bit on the downstairs crapper but found the bowl empty???? Only one reason it would syphon is if there is an airlock! Upstairs ok.... sure enough the intercepter in the front garden is blocked so out with the rods and trusty hose and set about clearing the intercepter all done in about 5 mins then set about the ‘fatburg’ that forms back up the pipe when that happens. I thought I’d got that in another 10 mins when I got about a carrier bag of fat cleared but I couldn’t get the rods to go more than a metre and then realised I wasn’t seeing the loo flushes... an hour of beating the heck out of the fatburg there was a very big gurgle and it broke free, what ensued was worthy of a disaster movie..... over 2 minutes of torrent!!!!!!!

Thankfully the intercepter box is well over 6’ deep or it would have been all the way down to North St.

The things we do for family and neighbours!!!

30 years in this house it has never been that bad!

I told you you'd shifted a few pounds, fella. Now you know where it had gone.

Morning. Wednesday used to be my day off and another step towards retirement, I don’t know what went wrong?

Well after yesterday went to sh1t, I’ve had something of a lay in today! Morning all, shower shave and spruce this morning as off to younger daughter’s graduation in the Southbank later.

Have fun all...

Morning all. After a day out of the off for a meeting in Swindon yesterday (300 mile round trip) have lots to catch up on, however, my parents are coming down for a few days so will need to pick them up from the station at some point.
Which kinda chucks a spanner in the works for catching up from yesterday.

Add to the fact that Joseph now wants to get up at 4.30am! :frusty6::frusty6::frusty6:

I am totally knackered!

Morning,
Total have announced the long awaited "re-structuring" of their Denmark assets last week, so, prudent of me to start my exit strategy. Was only going to stay until Xmas anyway. Have had a couple of offers all ready but TBH i fancy a couple of months off.
Onwards & upwards,
Dave

Fool! Have you been reading Newton's book, Top Tips on How to Kick Back and Take it Easy?

Surely that just gives you a longer working day? One hand for Joseph, one hand for your phone / laptop / etc. Multi-task, man!

An interesting few days here have unexpectedly presented some curious new career choices. I have much to mull over in the coming days. So mull I shall. As the weather is looking ok I plan to do some serious mulling from the back garden, in between the calls and shite which are the plague of so many lives in these dark, post-tech revolution days.

That sounds like the perfect summer strategy. Dave. You can stick some miles on that GS while you're at it.
