First found that my Merc has a nail in one of the rear tyres. So Have to take the tyre to be fixed.
Find out that the side wall is damaged so need a new tyre. Even though I've only had those on for 2 months!
Then the fuel filter warning light come on so need a new one of those. In short £400 spent before lunch!
Well as one would expect, there were some teething issues moving into the new office. Still, it's rather nice
Back there today. I was hoping for a smooth run down into Christmas but pretty much back to back from this afternoon until Thursday lunchtime. Oh well, pays the bills.
Morning all....Dans last day in school but Alex doesn't break up until Friday......Both schools are a stones throw from each other so odd that there is a difference....That's Wales for you.
Morning all. Got up nice and early to get the tyre replaced on the Merc after I had it ordered yesterday. And it's not come in!!!!

Then I got the "we'll order you another for tomorrow!" I ordered with them as they said the tyre would be in today.
If I wanted one for the 20th I could have saved myself £20!
Bit belated posting but a very nice day in the record shop! Two overnight orders (Japan and US) for two vinyl 45s totally £400+, then a request from Czech Rep for four 45rpm records, £500, and finished off with a £300+ order for one record from the UK customer. As my boss says it will pay for "my care in the community costs".
I made it home via a cuppa with the Ditchfinder General still has all four wheels attached but much to my surprise at times! I think there is a failed CV somewhere but likewise it could be another wheel bearing or a diff!
No Phil, may well be the faults are linked, problem is like the wheel bearing it is nigh on impossible to trace it driving as all wheels have drive shafts with 2 x cvj’s!
Morning all, first light will see me lift each corner of the volvo to trace the issues. Then if safe I’ll load it up and off to do a large local rope job.
