Good morning from the outskirts of Givet, a pretty little town on a the Meuse river in the Ardennes . Contrary to our usual relaxed approach to touring we're having a 300 mile/5hour (hopefully) motorway blast to somewhere south of Stuttgart - tomorrow the fun should start (although the forecast ain't brilliant)

Morning, all...work from work today, with meetingaftermeetingaftermeeting. The barn cat & kittens go to the vet. Some local media outlets being disingenuous...surprise.

Looking forward to tomorrow & the weekend...hope all are well!

Just back from a 411 kilometre drive in my R4 probably the longest it's ever done into the depths of Brittany to pick up some R5 Alpine wheels in scorching 30°C and she ran faultlessly.IMG_20230608_152212.jpg

Good morning everyone already 20°C here.
On my way to get the train to Paris and fly to Spain to collect the Jaguar XJ6 I've bought then a 1600 kilometer drive back home.
There's Mad Dogs and there's Englishmen :)
Good luck on your trip back. I do love a series 1, 2 and 3 XJ.

I appreciate your hope @2b1ask1 - so far he is - although the mpg is a bit poor around 20+ or is that the Miss Daisy drivers;) Today is pass warm up day with the Hochtannberg Pass on the 200 to Warth then the more famous Flexenpass around Zurs. We may also attempt the Arlbergpass to St Anton depending on weather and road works. We had a little pass practice yesterday as road closures forced us off the prescribed route to our accommodation so we had to 'suffer' several twisties on a beautiful surfaced road and have to retrace those steps this morning.

Have a great time out there Annie. Phil, good luck with the homecoming Queen. Morning all, never really left the house yesterday due to a blocked alley! Earlier start as I need to survey a local site to be able to quote it.

Have fun all…

Morning, all...WFH today, culminating in two zoom meetings at 2p and 3:45p...

Nice write-up in the paper this morning around the boundary stuff. Still had 70 speakers on Tuesday night, with roughly 50 of them still mad...but given the size of the area and number of students impacted, I'll take it. However, the headlines the last two days used the word "controversial" a lot, and only quoted the handful of angry folks (relatively speaking)...so at least they talked to some people who were happy.

At any rate, the Canadian wildfires are assuring a high of just about 80F today so will try to get some things done outdoors before nightfall. Hope all are well, and ready for the wind-up to the week...

Back from the north (of Essex), took a trek out to the new house/village to try and find a unit nearby to base my works and to consolidate all my containers etc. I believe I have found a couple of options near Saffron Walden/Steeple Bumpstead! Thus reassured I can happily move the house purchase on now.

Good morning all from a bright Klostertal Valley - off to check out Kops and Silvrettastrassa today - popular with mountain bikers, cyclists, walkers, motorbikers and convertible car drivers!!! We'll see how we get on

Morning all, a wing mirror to replace on Adam’s GF’s little Peugeot after some numpty hit every car on the road outside of their place last week. Motorbike bits and other stuff later, no bushes will be harmed in the making of today.

Have fun all…
