A reasonable effort there, Andy.
My mother always makes (or at least ices) a Christmas cake for me, but she forgot to give it to me before I left them on Christmas Day. The parents are putting this right by visiting me later this morning in order to deliver it.

Good morning, I've got two more days to work this year and today isn't one of them.
Come Monday I'll have worked every single day of the year too...

Morning all up early to (hopefully) pick up the new work horse.
However a train trip (two trains actually) to Chesterfield awaits.
Just at Ashford waiting for the first one.
Hopefully the car will be good and I won’t have to get two trains home!

Morning all, no paid work until Friday but after having a temp burner out in the old boiler to give us some hot water the new one arrives tomorrow so got to do a bit of prep work as this one is being fitted outside as it is big enough to heat both house and he new garage (forward planning).

Also have to order some Fulvia bits, petrol tank has developed a leak so ideal opportunity to upgrade the whole system, new electric pump, filters lines etc. With the tank out it makes access to the rear dampers easy so will change then at the same time and if doing the rears might as well do the fronts too and I thought Christmas was expensive

Morning, all. Today we say goodbye to the eldest and his gf after about ten days, then a trip to the hospital for a blood test due to a misfire in the upper chamber (I suspect an electrical fault) then, annoyingly, some work on what was supposed to be a week off. At least it adds to the billable time, is the upside.

Matt, good luck with the cussy foghorn.
