Morning all, local job today fixing three vandalised wheelchair access gates at a country park. As the vandalism is by moped gang wanting reliable escape routes from police I guess they will be vandalised within hours again! Plenty of photographic evidence of my work then.

Have fun all...

Install bear traps for the little *******, Newton. Land mines. Lowlife wankers*.

Morning, all.

*for the avoidance of doubt, I'm referring to fleeing moped gangs. not people in wheelchairs.

Drying those carpets out then?
The AC drain blocked and is nigh on impossible to get too.
Only realised I had a problem when recent visitors were in the back.
The problem is drying out the sound proofing.
Thankfully no electrical problems.
Another poor design by Engineers meaning a lot of work for technicians and a big bill for the customer.

Morning all.

Office this morning. Waiting for stuff as usual.

I got my antibody test back last night. Which read "no detectable Covid-19 antibodies".

However, that doesn't necessarily mean I haven't had it. It just means that they didn't detect any in the specific test I had.
In the blurb that goes with it it says (paraphrasing). That even though the test was negative, because they're only testing for high numbers of antibodies that doesn't necessarily mean I haven't had it. Just that I didn't have a high enough level.
Also 3 in 10 give false readings.
Antibody levels decrease over time (I had it end of Feb/beginning of March).
Some patients have very low levels of antibodies even the day after they get the all clear.

Basically. I can't give plasma, to help those who are trying to recover. But they haven't a clue about anything else.

Good effort eh?

I'm thinking flipping a coin might be as accurate, but cheaper.
There are so many 'interested agencies' all with 'input' as to the testing standards required that we seem to have ended up with this almost useless testing.
It's frustrating that scientists left to their own devices will come up with great testing - but take years to get there, meanwhile health agencies demand testing now. Nobody seems to be managing the middle ground very well?

Morning.
Off up to the City today, for the London Concours. Should be good, with 80 of the Worlds greatest cars on show. The rain is a bugger though.

Should be a good one. I considered it, then decided against due to the combined perils of weather and work. I'll be in London most of next week so that'll be my big city quota taken care of for a month or two. Have a good day.

Morning, all. Today will involve work and also resanding and oiling the kitchen island worktop, a job which I'm not really looking forward to but which will be good when done. Hopefully. Another hope is that the boiler guy will turn up and turn ours on again. Due to a leak he turned it off two days ago pending the arrival, fitment and testing of new seals. I've been having cold showers for two days, which is bracing. That God it's not winter.

Happy *******, humpers.

PS: what's wrong with hvmping?

PPS: Mrs Crud says. where do I start..?
