In our part of the world, we put out our offerings on Tuesday night, and by Wednesday morning they are gone, apart from a few scatterings from the offerings to show the faithful where he has been and where he is going next.
(A bit like when Santa only eats half his biscuit and Rudolph only eats half his carrot.)

We're East Anglian Orthodox Binnites. I suspect the differences are subtle. A multi-faith Church of the Unholy Mess, with enclaves for the various factions, night reveal slight modifications to the form of belief, but what a fascinating study for theologists inquisitive as to where the faiths merged and how those differences have magnified over the years.

Today I'm going to continue removing glue from a Oak floor that someone covered with vinyl probably 40 years ago.
