Cheers, she has been doing the work as part off her job for the last three years or so but the roll is being expanded and the geographic area will now cover the whole of NELFT so Redbridge, Barking Havering & Brentwood etc.

Good Morning Everyone!
Another Early Shift, pass on my congrats to Jeanette please Newton.
Did a little bit more on the ZXR recommission yesterday. It now runs well but clutch is probably seized, however sorted out the throttle action, it's now crisp to return rahter than a sluggish action. Sidestand switc fixed so it will run with the sidestand up. Need to flush out the coolant system and sort out why the fan doesn't come on, so I need to check the thrmostat and the fan switch.

Oh and the new daily was delivered...it's cheap for a reason, if I can find a decent seating position it could be a hoot, MRs MLC doesn't like it going over 40mph....which makes me think, 'Why did they call it the Swift?'

Morning all, thanks for the positives, I have passed them on. Today I’m off to Hastings first, Horam and then if time permits I’ll do a repair in Hackney. Don’t forget your masks in shops!

Have fun all...

David, another Common issue on little cars is the crank position sensor is on the crown wheel and picks up swarf from the starter motor being magnetic and loses efficiency, unbolt it and clean it up or replace it for not a lot.

Final issue of Modern Classics should be plopping on the mat. Sad day, but here’s to the future.

Right, anyone need a freelance copywriter/social media whiz?

That's a shame always though there was market for Modern Classics but maybe more on the inter web these days, personally I do like to sit down with an old style magazine

It sold well - outselling some bigger, better funded names by a ratio of 2:1 - but sales only cover the costs. Profitability comes from advertising, which was never enormous, and which COVID mullered.

Morning all. Office for the morning then off to get a bike fit.

Been waiting since the start of lockdown to get one done. Hopefully I won't have to do it with a mask on!
3 hours of being computer modelled whilst riding my bike will be a little knackering!

All this money spent on pushbikes and lycra could should be spent on a Maserati...just my opinion :saifi:
