Morning all, officially no work today unofficially I need to make some calls :(

However rest of the day free, new tyres going on the daily and then GAA with the girls this evening otherwise relax

Morning, all. Just two calls job-scrounging today. I have one really interesting project underway already which could lead to something (but is a few ifs away from a maybe), and a couple of pretty good opportunities, both of which I should find out more about today. My initial assessment is that one will be vile but pay well and the other quite the opposite. Let's see. Other than that, it's mostly a day off.

In unrelated news, I finally finished reading one of the strangest books I've ever read. Gravity's Rainbow, by Thomas Pynchon. I have no idea whether to recommend it or not. If any of you ever decide to read it, then strap yourselves in. It's 902 pages of small print fuckery and weirdness.

How lovely, bin men did not wake me at 06:00 as normal today... because they did not come at all....are they late or have I been punished for some unknown reason???

^^^^ This^^^^ Either way someone's insurers are going to be pi$$ed!

Morning all and including the missing Pea! A second night of sod all sleep for no good reason (apart from the Concorde doing fast taxi runs in the bed next to me (with full afterburners)!!! Back to St. Thomas Hosp today for some finishing tasks still outstanding.

Praise be and alleluia! We are triply blessed. The acolytes of St Bin have deemed not only our non-recyclable and food waste offerings to be acceptable, but also the offerings of our garden waste! A festival, surely!

I'll have you know the references I received from Porrn Hub were excellent. They commented that my commitment to the job was demonstrated by my being always the first to arrive. Such a glowing accolade!
