No wonder he didn't want to go through the insurance!

Is that criminal damage?

C
She was very upset at the time and shouldn't have been driving.
The Micra was hers and she had a driving instructor with her but no dual controls.
He just sat there couldn't do much really.
It got settled really quickly.

Morning all. Office for probably half the day. Then home to sleep/relax.

Alex and Joseph have headed off to Devon to see family down there. As I have a chest infection and Alex's niece suffers with chest problems I figured if it was best all round if I didn't go.

So I have 3 days of doing sweet FA. And three nights of unbroken sleep. What more could a man want?

Sigh
Mrs C's 147 decided that a clutch was an optional extra on the 'smart' section of the M25 between Potter's Bar and Waltham Cross on the way home this evening. Still the Highway bods turned up sharpish, halted all the traffic (sorry anyone that was stuck), and towed her to a refuge. She's now in 'the truck with the flashy lights' heading back to Harlow with the 147 heading to Auto Alfa in Basildon (quick plug!) Was booked for a cambelt service and drop links on Friday so it's not all bad!

Good morning everyone, glad that Mrs C and 147 are physically OK, the rest is just money and we're not talking £2,5k+ for a Maserati clutch here.
It's raining hard here too, the gardens are saturated. The UK is slowly sinking...

Morning all and very wet here too.
A drive up to Cherbourg and crossing to Poole tonight and then Weston super Mare for a few days.
Catman I would have had the 147 gearbox out by now on the floor with the car on axle stands.
What you playing at young man ?

If you are heading up the M5 during the visit drop me a line and we can see if we can meet.

Oh,not good C, just got back from Yorkshire after a gruelling couple of days.

Long old trip, chap.

Indeed. The AA man took the oddest route back, but didn't seem to be quite the full socket set. Anyway his view is it's hydraulic so it may even be less than that.

I'm the brains of the operation. I have people to do the oil stuff ;)
