Hmmm.................English Garden Solid Wall Bond in Hit & Miss rather than every three courses. Interesting!

Had no idea what you were talking about lol, so googled it.
Is it not English bond?

I'm having to remove the cement render due to it trapping water being it... Bricks are soaked.

Horrible wet day here. I was hoping to sit and watch the F1, but been invited out for a roast right in the middle of it....
Oh well.

Good morning everyone, in the middle of England somewhere. Off to see what the fuss of Caffeine and the Machine is about now that Stanford was cancelled. Rubbish driving conditions, glad for new Michelin rears.

Morning all, loads of DIY jobs to do but as most of the DIY shops are closed in Ireland on a Sunday it might be a trip out and a spot of lunch

Enjoy that beer Adam.........So what didn’t you like about the new one. I would imagine it’s more polished than the last one due to those a German bits which sometimes isn’t always a good thing....or doesn’t make it feel as special maybe.

The look of it from the front, the interior, the incessant beeping and squeaking, the horribly grabby brakes, the very dated Merc tech and the fact that it felt too much like it was trying to be a spirts car instead of just being one.

That's very interesting Adam......The looks have really grown on me (love the rear) but I did think they were going for more daily drive than weekend toy maybe. Sounds like some of that quality of the last Vantage has been lost.

Wet and Windy for my drive to Belgium but I will be there before it's dark and the XF is a comfortable place to be on your own.

if was a thing of beauty Adam. Lightening silver is one of my favourite Aston colours as well. I love the way it just wraps around you when you are in it. They also had this yellow V12S Roadster...Rather a rare thing with manual box and power upgrade. Sounds bonkers loud. Not cheap at over 150k though.
Looks like Bristol?

My Vantage was Lightning Silver. Always popped whatever the weather and easy to keep clean. Liking the yellow roadster.

Yep, Bristol.....Such a lovely dealership....The first time I saw Lightening silver was on an N400....Under the sun it looked amazing.

Just completed the loader and getting it to work! Took a lot of fettling but the idea is sound. Still need to make a mount for the iPad as I bought the biggest I could find but with the IP68 case on it won’t fit.!

Update, cracked it, I have a lanyard on the case so in the event of capsize and worse it doesn't sink to the bottom of some French canal , the case has tether point on each corner so I've simply strung it around them and will use it like hanging a picture on a string! Simples....

Now to collect my stuff together and pack! Why is today getting so stressful for me???

Early start as I am off to Belfast today looking at a business we are hoping to add to our portfolio.
Have to say I am not looking forward to the delights of Luton Airport

Cheers all, yes I’m picking Benny up in Dover and we are off to Ypres tonight, a first for me to visit the gate.

Morning all, some frantic packing going on as a ferry to catch. Need to get the van cleaned at some point.
