A soggy good morning all, I’d forgotten how wet rain is, the hounds dived out to do their business for a few seconds and promptly spread mud throughout the house!

Good morning everyone from a very wet Hotel de France. Sadly not THAT one. This one is in Jersey. And a very wet place it is today. The rain will be torrential so I suggest you use a kayak to get to work.

Morning, sorry to hear that Andy, don’t beat yourself up.

Leaving Bolsena and heading to Siena via Orvietto.

Weather lovely.

Morning all and a very wet Laval today but very much needed in France as this Summer has been exceptionally hot.

Got sent a video from my younger daughter on the way home; "The Aygo is making a very loud funny noise now..."

Indeed it is as the water pump has collapsed!, guess what I'm doing in the morning!

You and me both, matey! Although not a Maserati, obvs. Instead, I'm sitting at Heathrow waiting for a delayed flight to Hong Kong and trying to avoid getting shitefaced on free fizz.

Good question, Cat. So that I can better enjoy sitting on the flight doing the same thing in a far more comfortable seat, Which is where I am now. Sadly the bloody thing's still on the ground and the aux engine has packed up so it's a bit super-heated. Consequently, my food choices are drawn more to the lighter end of the spectrum than the beef cheeks. Especially when it doesn't specify whether it's the forward or aft cheeks. These things matter.

But they're not going to feed you on the ground, are they? Although otherwise your logic is sound :)
Safe travels!
