Morning all, safe travels to all those moving around today. I’m mostly MOTing the camper van today as although it is over 40 years old now my wally son has failed to get it on the historic vehicle register so it will need a new one! Shouldn’t be an issue.

Have fun all...

Good morning everyone!
Waking up at chez MLC this morning. Martin and I are going on a booze cruise and will pop in to the Stade de France whilst we're at it to see Muse this evening.
Excited!
HapPea Saturday :)

Now on the ferry, the Spirit of Britain no less. Bar isn't open yet

Well that was scary! Two bulbs out = nothing to worry about, done in 5 minutes, get to the MOT centre and he pulls it straight away as no VIN plate!!!! Quick online search reveals 5 locations it 'could' be on that model of Bay Window, nope, nada nothing! two of the locations have clearly had major welding done; panic time as without it it is VERY illegal and if checked by the fed's a seize! Ever more frantic searching turns it up loose under the cab carpet! It is now firmly riveted back on where it should be behind the driver's seat....

Just an advisory about the jacking points which we are due to change anyway.

Good Result though Newton.
My Saturday spent making brake pipes and changing the flexi hoses as even though the MOT history is perfect and no advisories I feel at 14 years old they were due a refresh.
Not easy with the temperature in the 30'S.

that takes me back, I used to make quite a few brake pipes from copper coils and flare the ends with a vice mounted tool, quite a satisfying job, still got the tool somewhere from many moons ago
Yeah a satisfying job just finished with a brake fluid flush and now going out to enjoy the French countryside on my doorstep with the roof down :)

Morning all. Damp and grey here. Training this morning then hopefully picking up a new feline to replace the one that we lost a couple of months ago.

Have a great day, all

Hello everyone!
Martin is now driving us away from Paris to stock up liquid refreshment products in Calais there's a lot more space for it in the empty boot of his Seat than there was in the full boot of my Spyder a few weeks ago.
Muse last night were AWESOME!
HapPea Sunday :)

Morning, hungover...Dan! and 14hrs drinking again.

Andy, it’s supposed to clear this morning so you should be ok. Enjoy.

Also Pook Lane is closed but New Road is open so just go down that.
