Morning, all. Some gentle mooching round today and not much else.

Stevie, get well soon. The clock is ticking! But not as fast as your ticker, apparently.

Well that just takes the biscuit. Got to the eye quack to find out Mrs Catman's 147 had a screw through the OSR sidewall. Serious PITA plus I wanted to put all seasons on it for her new job since it needs well over 2 new ones.

Of course wasn't going to get what I wanted a zero notice on a Saturday am. Fortunately the AA man arrived, pumped up the space saver (MOT last week!) and swapped it over 45 minutes after we called.

So another hired Insignia to get us to Kent....

Morning everyone!

Dave, Corfu hey? Always wanted to go there after reading the Gerald Durrell books as a child. Enjoy.

It appears my fever has subsided, thankfully. Also, the streptococcal puss in my throat has mostly gone from view. It's still swollen massively, bright red and very painful. Arch... I want to do stuff, like do a Le Mans prep clean and polish off the car, but I'm definitely too sick for that amount of exertion. I hope some friends round the corner will take pity on me and have me over for Sunday lunch. They usually serve around 10 different fresh veg with their roasts and that always feels healthy.

Other than that, hapPea Sunday everyone!

Woke to a lovely morning here in Bembridge harbour. Fuzzy head after a few sundowners on the boat last night.

Morning all, Alex is miserable as the wendyball didn’t go as planned apparently. I’ve fixed his car for the retest as best I can but not sure I’ve done enough about the emissions. Got to do reports today and review my pension at some point as it falls due this month! When I set it up it was for when I got to 55 well that is now but I have no intention of backing off yet.

Have fun all...

Few years away from 55 but my kids are too young to retire when I hit 55, so still require the normal income.
If the kids where older, left home, and mortgage paid off etc, I would certainly look to at least slow down a bit.
Classic problem, though, more free time, more time to spend money, especially with expensive hobbies!

Real because of the longitudinal engine.
Aren't replicas based on the Monty?

That was my original thought but apparently there are replica with the engine the right way round but the clues are in the details. Abarth heads and supercharger, carbon dash with all the correct switch gear, unique gearbox and suspension mounting points etc.

Just out of a 5 year rebuild and restoration and was absolutely stunning in every way

Morning all - just
Warm and bright at last here.

Retirement for a man is a massive life change and you must have something to do. It does not matter what - stamp collecting etc but you must do something
