Nice one Andy, take it he’s not looking to become a politician then?

Weirdly....yes he was at one stage as he said he could do a better job than any of the current ones.

Good morning all.....More Union consultation today on warehouse rota changes. Very heavy rain here this morning.

Thank you all for the comments. Dave, lovely sentiment ...thank you my friend.

Short day today as off to Layhill prison at 1300 for an hours meeting then home. We use prisoners at the depot as part of their rehabilitation. The ones that work out OK then potentially get taken on.

Morning, all. A bit dusty this morning after a night out on the tiles in Budapest last night. Absolutely superb steak dinner and much chortling with colleagues from all over the place. Now - happily - time for home.

Martin, thanks for the reminder about Alton. I'll need to bail, unfortunately. Tomorrow I need to rest and a 5am start is the exact opposite!

Have a good Friday, everyone.

Morning everyone, looks like a good day, the sun is shining, I've the morning off work and I get to pick up my QP after it's stint at Grimaldi's.

Bad part is having to get a wheel re-refurbed after catching it on the trailer when I took it up there.

Morning all from Edinburgh.

A meeting in a bit followed by a presentation to a large FM Company. Then the short trip to Glasgow to me a two members from this parish.
I’m guessing it will be a nice quiet evening with only a couple of drinks. :p:p:p

Morning.

Back in the office after a road trip to Southall yesterday to pick up my industrial sewing machine.

If anyone has a 3200/4200, Spyder, QP or GranTurismo Maserati indoor cover thats a bit tatty and would like to donate it to me for me to take it apart to get pattens, you will receive a brand new SM black one in the same material with graphics back FOC in return.

Please PM me...limited to one per template.

I'm going to start with car covers as they are simple but then I'lll be moving on to other SM branded merchandise but ultimately I am looking at Auto Upholstery in my retirement. If anyone has any Maserati front seats kicking about I am looking for my first project.

Here's the baby:

Well yes, if I can work at my own pace and it keeps me interested I will be ok with that.

At the moment, my concentration is not running my fingers under the foot!

Ive also been watching videos on YouTube of a Mexican upholsterer who shows step by step how too's...its fantastic.

From making pattens for seats from just the foam, to tips and tricks and machine maintenance:
