Select all / delete. Bollox. If it matters they'll send again.

Morning, all. Today, I shall mostly be trying to not get cross.

I also plan to get the second layer of wheel-wax, including calipers and wheel nuts. Looking good so far, and handy that I can crack on with it during a couple of calls during today.

Morning all, walked in to the news the reports server crashed over the weekend so a lot of frustrated bodies running around trying to get figures for last week. I think I will keep my head down.

Morning you lot!
Dem - great news for you. Enjoy it, both of you.
Crud, I hear that you should use silicone for the nuts. Slightly jealous that you can crack on with those wheels whilst on calls.
Today I'll see if it's case of calm before the storm as we gather ourselves to work out how best to spend £6m. I specced up a new DBS over the weekend so thinking of suggesting that.
HapPea Monday!

Basically wax over chrome is not a good combo as the wax is microporus and will hold moisture over the surface of the chrome causing a more rapid oxidisation/dulling/pitting!

Stainless should be ok but no real advantage to waxing them other than easier cleaning...

Waxing your nut(s) however is a whole different decision but in this enlightened age is far more likely to lead to teabagging I.M.H.E.

Feck, got to the bottom of this weekends failure only to find out it was down to a server that I identified as a weak link 8 years ago along with the strategy report I wrote to replace. Needless to say it was ignored but at least there is a replacement strategy already written - heh ho I have so far held back from commenting "I told you so" but that might not last all day :)

Magnetic = chromed, non-metalic = stainless steel

My best guide mate :)

Smashing, ta. Stainless is my guess, then. It's easier cleaning that I'm after. The CCBs don't throw out a lot of filth anyway, so it's mainly just road grime that I'm trying to deter / get shot of easily.

As for the other matter, it's early so I'll stick to coffee for now.

Morning all. After a top weekend with the family, it's back to the grindstone.

Awaiting a software update so I can again go to Sidcup again to do a download from our kit in the Premier Inn there.
Couldn't do it on Friday as the software I had was too new! :rolleyes:
