Morning. 2 days of work left plus the RR is in for service today.

Exciting life isn't it!

On the plus side, 5 more days of Xmas music on every radio and TV station till it ***** off for another year!

We had an insurance expert cost the closure of Gatwick after there was almost a sizeable mis-hap at Hilton Gatwick in 2013.
The cost was nearly £6m per hour if you include loss of revenue from planes landing, fuel sales, and all of the sales inside the terminal.
Although I guess the terminal is doing a roaring trade. I bet there are some smashed people in 'Spoons!

And I bet those who paid for a 'lounge are laughing all the way to errrrr a liver transplant!

Morning all. Office for much joviality (not) today.

Conference call with the USA, followed by a conference call with one hotel group, followed by another with another hotel group.

Along with loads of other stuff interspersed no doubt.

Been up since 06.00 writing reports so I can generate a new round of inspections for Nick to write up for me. Out later to rebuild a unit that involves driving the Volvo off road on very soggy ground!

In too some cold shoulders this morning, oh well!
Was hoping to finish today but they want me to look after the office for the 3 days next week.

Morning all, last working day of the year and a Poets day too what's not to like - oh yes a flight home this afternoon the airports will be manic but at least I am not going anywhere near Gatwick

Morning all. Can't believe I'm still flat out on what is (for most) the last day of work for the year.

Meeting at lunch, and then back to the office. :(

On a positive note I think I've found a replacement for the BMW. Hopefully it will still be for sale in the New Year.

Good morning all, office morning for me then off to see Jack and the beanstalk pantomime :D. Finished off by a works dinner and drinking to much alcohol.
Monday still pending although I think it will be an eye on emails whilst sat at home day.
