Morning all, in Nottingham myself later C, first to three sites in Luton, one in Houghton Regis, Coventry and then Beston Nottingham before winding up in Buxton. So far the Volvo seems to be repaired ok.

Have fun all...

Well, that sucks on a Friday, Chris. Anyway, I'm curious about your introductory techniques; is biting normal in your line of work? Or are you more of a light nibbler?

Morning, all. Working from home, early and late calls with far-off easterly and westerly lands to top and tail things. Ain't no kind of day to be trav'lin no place. Besides, the sun might put in an appearance. Which'll be nice.

Morning all. First day at big school for the eldest yesterday so that was fun. Off on the school run again soon then just usual stuff catching up with some customers remotely. Dog walking etc.... Nothing to break a sweat (apart from a leisurely run). Hope you are all still enjoying this glorious weather.

Morning.

Busy day off yesterday, starting with the Opel GT that I took out of storage after 2 years. Started but spluttered and was not drivable.

Checked the fuel pump, all good then dropped the fuel and she was pretty much sorted with a new set of plugs too. Had a vacuum leak and the timing was out. Adjusted the hydraulic tappets and now she drives brilliant again.

Then went over to see Phil at the bodyshop to see how the Brera is getting on as he's had it 4 weeks.

They are painting the whole car....what!

Brera was in primer and being dusted off ready for masking, she is going to look lovely when done with the wheel refurb I did. Also stripped, treated and stone chipped both front and rear subframes before I sent her over.

Just boring work today and more chasing hotels for MOB. Best get on and finish the itinerary and car sticker as its only a couple of weeks now :)

Hello everyone!
Whilst cycling to work today I passed a loved up couple holding and swinging hands as they strolled along the cycle path. What was most concerning was that the chap looked like Dem and the lady like Lydine!
In my office today and working on some pretty important customer projects. It's all been going on this week... one colleague's misdemeanors have been starting to unravel in people's faces (including in front of a customer); after 18 months' groundwork, I just started the contract negotiations for a very important soon-to-be-customer; other intriguing musings regarding our super-cool machine learning tech continue to emerge.
HapPea Thursday everyone!

Had a gut full of it right now. It was so much easier when I worked for someone else. The worst thing that could happen is you get the sack.

The joys of working for yourself.
A few days of absolute ****, followed by an email and a phone call which put everything right in the world.

Just got an order to do a trial with the largest hotel owner in the country (over 700 hotels) and then a conversation with another hotel chain to do the same.

Still need a beer! :jptongue:

Clearly you're wishing your life away :)

Anyway the team was great, but not *that* tasty. There wasn't a lot of blood, but quite a lot of screaming
