Most usage will be able to be handled by charging at, or near, home. The only issue then will be people going on long trips and the fight for charging points at service stations. I'm not sure that, even with charging points in every space, that a motorway services would be able to fuel as many electric vehicles as they currently do fossil fuel ones at peak times. There's then the massive overhaul of the electrical supply to these places. It gets more complex the more you think about it.
Perhaps electrical supply technology is the thing to invest in.
