That's a claim you don't hear often
Surely you mean 'admission'?

Quite possibly but I think I would be keeping it a bit more quiet

No surprises there really you being a reforming head banger

I don’t think you can be a reformed head banger, I got the Mrs tickets for the Boomtown Rats and the booking agent asked “seated or standing?”
Standing......why would you at our age.......
In the early eighties I had a cardinal red 900 turbo with water injection to allow it to run 1.1bar boost (high in those days!). I forgot to put antifreeze in the supply tank one winter and it hydraulic'd.... I owned 3 more later models in subsequent years. Great idiosyncratic cars. Incredibly safe too. There were 100 special edition 5 doors in cardinal red and 1 black dealers special order (there may be one more black one kicking around). I don't know how many survive - probably single figures.
They were never produced for USA or Europe but I think about 40 went to Australia. They were essentially a 99 GLE with a turbo engine, Inca wheels and Bilsteins.
Teenager a bit later than some of your mentions. Wendy James was properly fit, not aged well nowadays though. Our Cricket Club Chairman had a 964 Turbo and I so wanted one. He drove it like a nutter too, got done at 138mph on the A1.
