Yes DMS waste of money. Sportsitalia collaborating with AV engineering have developed a true map with proper gains.

• any chance of a 4.2 version? I have yet to find a shop in the US to do a remap, would love to figure this out end to end.
• when you put a Maserati on the rolling road, what do you do to keep the computer from figuring out that things just aren’t right and cutting power back? My last run had multiple small jumps in the power curve that were clearly not natural

A remap is exactly that; it stops the computer from figuring out that things aren't right, and gets it to join the party. A graph should be linear and fluent, and if it isn't it'll eventually blow the motor. Fyi, that is something you really don't want.
