Presumably the limitations on low rev torque are there to look after the transmission?

Possibly to do with drivability also. I know my 350z would only open the TB something like 70% in the first couple of gears, despite having the foot to the floor. Assuming thats one of the things the DBW box works through on the Maserati's.

Not the DBW, that’s just the gearbox speed signal I understand. The ECM might, which is really what we are talking about here.

I would imagine, look after Ferrari is more likely.

Its the same transmission as a F599 so it can handle 700hp

They could be torque limited at low revs too.

I tell you what, if Zep or Blondie lend me a non-remapped car, we'll recreate our 2011 side by side test. That'll be the most honest review.

Torque pro versions does it. If you have paid for it before you should be able to download it again.

I dont think the free version does what you want.

i guess if they have access to all sorts of parameters they can take full advantage of any mods. I know FD sells ECU maps as well. Which are around 2000 dollars.
