Have you signed up yet?Is this going to be under the SM car club banner or are you just planning to park up together?

All about perspective I guess. Id imagined it would be more expensive to run than the S2 yes, Cup2 tyres or similar, heavier and bigger everything, but in the grand scheme of things, as you say, it is still a cheap car to own and run compared to most things that offer that performance.I do a little bit on track, but not a lot, and I'm not especially harsh with cars. So my experience is just tyres and fuel so far.
People tell me they're significantly more expensive to run than an S2 Exige, but I find it pretty cheap to run compared to other cars that I have.

I think an airfield might be a tad optimistic in terms of size requirements.... and you know the minute anyone organises anything for X, Y will want to show up - mainly those in pointy GT's and asbo exhausts, some harping on about how few seats they have...Also this will be an opportunity to do some venue reconnaissance for the QPV event that you agreed to organise for 2022
Is a QP with asbo exhaust allowed?I think an airfield might be a tad optimistic in terms of size requirements.... and you know the minute anyone organises anything for X, Y will want to show up - mainly those in pointy GT's and asbo exhausts, some harping on about how few seats they have...
But a squadron of QPs would look epic

Well, in theory there are about 800 QPVs in the UK, so I think we could expect somewhere in the 50-150 zone if we promoted it well.I think an airfield might be a tad optimistic in terms of size requirements.... and you know the minute anyone organises anything for X, Y will want to show up - mainly those in pointy GT's and asbo exhausts, some harping on about how few seats they have...

It is a large compacted stone car park. I think the blister hanger is the new one at the end which houses the spitfire.Well, in theory there are about 800 QPVs in the UK, so I think we could expect somewhere in the 50-150 zone if we promoted it well.
Sywell says that there is a car park near the 'Blister' hanger that can accommodate about 125-150 cars, or for larger events of up to 1,000 cars, an area of grass on the airfield can be fenced off.
Yup. And you can also hire the hanger (with bar & toilets) for events, but it is a little pricey. It is a large compacted stone car park. I think the blister hanger is the new one at the end which houses the spitfire.
