Decided to vax my carpets, so not being one to half do a job and the fact I already had the drivers seat out! The carpet under both seats and down the sills still had the plastic on so a good time to get this thoroughly removed.

Looks a million bucks!...and smells good too. Gave it a full can of Vanish mouse, left for half an hour, scrubbed in and wet vax'd off.

To be fair, you could have those seats out in 10 mins for the pair of them, its simple.

1. Move seat all the way forward and up as high as it goes and remove the 2 rear hex bolts, one in each runner.
2. undo the 17mm nut that hold the seat belt to the base.
3. Move seat all the way backwards and up as high as it goes and remove the 2 front hex bolts, on in each runner.
4. reach underneath and disconnect the wiring multiplugs (2 for memory seats, 1 for non memory)
5. put on your Geoff Capes hernia belt and wrestle the seat from the car, you will be amazed just how heavy they are, I recon a good 6 stone each.

You must be nails - it was minus 2 degrees and blowing like a bassturd on Sunday.
Any water left outside could be picked up on its own after 30 minutes.

I lose all sensations in my fingers and start dropping those un-important things, like screws, which then drop into somewhere in-accessible and rattle for ever more.....
