I’m not awake yet and have just scanned the article. As Dan says it seems balanced, what is the contentious issue you refer too?

£48.5k for a 60k mile Strad? It would appear correct to me for its mileage, or the fact you can buy a 4.7GTS for half that?

No contentious issue Matt but someone will always disagree as we are a Maserati forum and that’s fine as everyone has an opinion.

That Strad is a lot of car for the money, and nice though that 911 is, the Porsche won’t provide the same sense of occasion. And nor (but nearly) does a non-Strad version of the GT.

Of course, to max-out the sense of occasion and madness, you need to go for the 2 seater and fit it with the harnesses for the Enzo-sourced seats. But if you want more comfy seats, and twice as many of them, then the 4 seater is your choice.

Dickie - don’t forget Blondie on your list of SM owned 2 seaters. And her yellow car has the roll cage option as the icing on the cake. Tasty.

That’s what I was getting at. Bog standard C4 or Strad.

I find it laughable that 60,000 miles is deemed high mileage. Full stop .... let alone on a car that is approaching 10 years old and on an engine which is hardly stressed (100bhp a litre).

As to agreeing or disagreeing, there wasn't much that was contentious ..... other than a comparison with a Toyota which is plain daft.

Funny, but were there not a few post about a 45k miles one being a good buy for the same money just last month at Syntha?
