Sportsmaserati.com XMAS (SIXTH) MEET - Ace Cafe December 2010

I can get Trev to put a sidebar in the events section, listing the coming 4 - 6 months, and use this to link to threads, and maybe also the current month on the home page.

We are thinking of drastically upgrading the home page now anyway, to take in some potential paid sponsorship as the bills of late are getting heavy.

It is the same forum software. OK its a bit messy, but it gives you an idea of widgets that are available.

We can discuss it at the xmas doo. If you see any widgets on other forums, feel free to PM me.
 
I have added the Xmas event to the calandar, there is an issue with the avatars, but it works. What I will do is get Trev to make it work so when you click the calandar link, it goes straight to the event.

I think we should limit this to Admin only, otherwise it will get messy.
 
As you say Conaero, if someone has dates of attractive events that would suit or can be agreed on as "meetup" events will be great...just let you know and Trev can include...result.

Ok, admin can only add the events that the forum is pushing. Ill get the web monkey onto it.
 
Will do spike. When the calendar widget is up I'll go through the events forum and add them.

Hi Miles , just a quicky.................Ros wants to know, and I will repeat, ROS, if it will be ok to put the diner back a few hours on saturday night so she can watch the X factor final.

Excellent, did not realise the SM Xmas doo fell on the same night as the X Factor final....so I get out of being forced to watch that drivel by my girls. RESULT.

Frog, tell Ros, Italians (and the Spanish) love watching TV whilst eating, so chances are it will be on in the restaurant (or is it not that type of restaurant)
