Hi Folks

just wondering if there is anyone free for a revisit
to Derby Pool on the 8th April for a visit and a shandy???

Maybe around 7.30 ish as should still be fairly light..

I have not double checked my diary but I hink I am free.

Hi Guys

I have just checked the weather forecast and friday is looking like it could be amazing,
with that in mind I may dip out of the Derby Pool and leave my work behind early and
get the weekend under way.

With that in mind I am thinking of sneaking off for a drive through North Wales lunch
time to mid afternoon,I will stay down for the weekend, I will be going via Rhuthin, Bala,
Trawsfynydd and over towards Abersoch.

Any thoughts

I'd probably be about an hour too late to meet you. Finish work at 3, could get to Mold for just before 4 but you'd probably be the other side of Bala by then, we'll do it sometime though.

Lee, i might fancy this as the other half is on a girls night out Friday. Long range weather looks good so it will probably lash it down !

My thought was to stay over somewhere Friday night and head back home early Sat afternoon. Where do you plan staying friday night?

Any one else fancy this one?

Unfortunately I won't be able to make Derby Pool on Friday - shame as I couldn't make the other one either.

But I have to say that the A4212 from Bala to Trawsfynydd has to be one of the best stretches of tarmac in the UK..... I enjoyed it so much the last time I was theren in my old Porsche, I did a U-turn and went back over it - and this was after I had cut the drive belt (with a kitchen knife from the B&B I was staying at) to a broken power steering pump...

Sorry I think I confused things, the Alfa meet is on the 8th of May, i'll get in touch with forum admind and post up a proper thread about it.
