Just want to get the old girl back on the road, she's too nice a car to be left standing. If wifey decides she actually prefers her VW camper, I've no doubt it will make a good buy for someone!

That should make a 'dent' in Yeti's recommissioning job of the 4200!

Serious interest from Oz if you're serious Yeti.

Checked the Eurospares site for their shipping costs: 1 set = 58 pounds via Fed Ex express. Reasonable... so I rang FedEx directly and they quoted me $1000 per set. WTF?

At this rate I'll be passing on my 2 sets of discs at cost to anyone on the 3rd group buy that wants them...

Anyone else in Oz had more luck?

Eurospares has a contract with ups, that's how they get the low price.

Maybe someone here with a contract and heavy discounts can help you

Sorry Massa for not getting back to your questions earlier, I get distracted at work doing work!
Euro spares minimum charge to Aus is 58 pounds when using Fedex. I know cause I just queried the charge for some lightweight items incl a wiper blade carrier, and some minor plastic bits and a bonnet badge. Too valuable apparently to send via Royal Mail, but they will get here quickly.
On the work computer I have the details of a transport firm I found from a Google search, who quoted me $300 or so, to send the discs over. I think there was an extra charge to pickup from MAF, rather than he go to their depot.
I'll just need his address when the time comes. I'll confirm this tomorrow.

One of my clients regularly sends 20 and 40 foot containers from UK to Melborne; happy to ask if I can slip a pallet on with all the disks for Down Under on it. Would need to pay a pallet rate and declare to customs and wildlife or whatever they call themselves these days. I can ask but no promises.

Much appreciated if you could. At this point Melbourne is a definite improvement.. only 1700 miles away or so. Much easier to get stuff across to outpost Perth for Luke and I, and Canberra's just up the road!

Transglobal Express are the freight people I found online.
Go through their website but you'll need to put Mark's Post Code as the source and the weight 38kg, dimensions 34 x 34 x 32 cm .
I came back with air freight arriving in 3 to 5 days of 145 pounds + 10 pounds insurance to cover 500 pound value.
I also found sea freight on there arriving Sydney early to mid December for 95 pounds, so you guys could input Perth docks and see prices for there.

Mark, I think Bruce just meant inputting it into the freight calculator on the transport firm website.

Massa, I contacted Mark offline.
It seems the UK Postcode system is very specific, whereas our codes cover a number of suburbs.
Mark rightly pointed out this was too much detailed info to go out.
