Incredible! Great attention to detail. If I had done that it would all have gone back together in a worse condition than it started. If it all went back together at all.

Really nice work!
One question:

After cleaning all connexion on back of dashboard, i check RPM meter.
Gauge is blocked on the first 1/3 of value, like is rub on floor.
I take gauge and peel off for 1 or 2 mm .

Not sure about this. Where did you peel 1-2mm?

I'm guessing a translation of trim, as in a couple of mm from the end of the tacho needle.

Hi !

Sorry for bad translation...of a Frogger :drinks: ( It's unusual to talk with British people in my countryside, i'm just an honest Farmer ^^ )

"peel off" mean "pull off" 1-2 mm.
Gauge was scraping on Dashboard bottom (where speed is write) :blushed: !
Exactly gauge plastic bottom need 1 or 2 mm more space.
Just extract space needed it ;) .

The needle was fouling on the back plane. If I understand his symptoms, the tachometer was reflecting increasing revs, but stick at the low end of the scale. Toms just bent it back a bit.

I've seen is on other cars. The plastic twists when exposed to heat.

Yes you can straighten those usually by putting a flat blade underneath and a hot flat blade on top, not too hot, or they melt a bit..!!

Hi, my speedo stopped working after winter storage, rev counter works fine what should check first, is there a cable to the gearbox? could there be the issue, or should I check the whole wiring?
