Go for it, I would if I had, A. The space
B. The funds
Love something different.

I currently have A and B but still finding it hard to make sense!

There is some movement south on the price it seems as well.

Surely that must be a fairly terrifying car to drive. Circa 500bhp in a little sports car that weighs a gnats over 1 ton

That TVR would be a really fun car to own. Worth a look and a test drive at least.

The Merak looks nice, but don’t expect it to get you where you want to go and back again. It’s very hard to make that engine reliable. The previous owner had to return it to Emblem after virtually every outing. It was there every time I visited (which was/is often!).

We had one on our company fleet when they were new and it sounded great. However, it had a door release knob on the centre console which unwitting passengers would often take out passing pedestrians with. I remember avoiding parking next to it in the company car park. Quirky and mad in a good way.

I think Marios did the rebuild - stunning concours
With the concours it won being judged on looks alone. If you want to trailer it to each event/show, then it’s great. But if you expect to drive it there and back, think again.

I agree....very different and very unique. Looks really well done too. Very neat and detailed.

Been liaising a bit this afternoon with the dealer on this one. There are some options on a deal and it isn't a zillion miles away from where I would like to be at the moment. Could mean my Chimaera going + some cash or possibly my 2nd 4200 + Chimaera + some cash.

Decisions decisions.......

Powers turbo demonstrator, the yellow one Dom built was up for sale not long back and took a year to sell and I’d imagine was better priced than this one.

Don’t know what they’re asking but it’ll be too expensive and really difficult to sell on.

So says the voice of reason who’s just bought a nailed Corvette

It's a TVR

Enough reason not to buy it , unless you like looking at your bank account thinking :, look at all that money doing nothing , I could keep many mechanics in employment if I buy it

Yes it's time to do my bit for the community

Is a TVR like this likely to be worse to run than an equivalent priced alternative? I fancy something a bit different not too modern but not sure what else is out there that fits the bill. At the price I am working towards (a smidge south of advertised price) it could make sense compared to an earlier Chimaera of much averageness.

I would love a Strad but it would mean selling my 4200 as well and not sure I could do that.

I think this would be good at 30-31k The MC sportline. I would go for this, if it was me.
