You'd be spitting your beverage of choice out if I told you, not tried the quads, probably won't, these sound like they cost £2000I suppose you paid thruppence hapenny for them?
Glad it sounds good. Not so good with the Quads?

Where are you finding all this stuff? I need some for the kids who are just starting to think about a sound system for their home, but have even less budget than I had setting up mine....
These speakers came from a guy who does house clearances, they were probably mint before he lobbed them in his van, they've got a few scuffs now but thankfully on the bottom
Most people have no idea how much real hifi costs
I never thought I'd see the day the Spendor S6e were passed over, I'm currently playing the dynaudio with a musical fidelity integrated amp and the base is making me feel sick
The current version of these speakers costs £4500, I'm highly unlikely to be upgrading them, I did have it on very loudYou should look for some big cabinets then

I'm hoping to see that Italian amp ( that's been at the menders that long I've forgotten what it is) back soon to try with them.
Could give these a go, a bit more expensive than mine though

What's the cost to change though, it's like buying cars, if you've got the money it doesn't matter what it costs, it's what it's worth when you sell it that matters.Rather more costly than mine too! Next ones up are going about £6k on ebay.....

We've got very few upgrade paths left....

Where are you finding these...?!?New (used) amp collected today, Roksan Caspian M2, it blows the Naim Nait 5Si out of the water
125w into 4ohms, I can't get it past 5 without the windows shaking
