There is a new bluetooth dongle that I am talking to the supplier about. It adds about £35 to the price, then I will order, so 3-4 weeks from that point.

Do we all want to go or the bluetooth or wired dongles?

Would including both dongles be an option - assuming we pay additional costs? If so, how seamless would it be to swap the dongles in case the untested bluetooth dongle presents issues?

Having now driven my new GT a good few miles, I am amazed by how p!ss poor the OEM user interface is and am very interested in this kit and being added to the list.

A few questions from me though:

1 - my wife uses crapple and I use android - is switching between the 2 seamless and, more importantly, easy for a technophobe?

2 - do the phones have to be connected by a wire to the unit (and if yes, can a USB c and Iphone connector be easily installed)

3 - is there a reversing camera upgrade?

4 - how long would it be before I would get my kit?

1. Its driven by the connected phone and automatically loads the correct interface
2. At the moment, yes, as in 1, but we have not been offered Blutooth dongles so we may now go down that route
3. Yes, the reverse camera is included in the kit and engages when you select reverse...no button to press
4. I must get on and order them then about 4-6 weeks, my bad, I have been rather busy of late.

Re 3, I actually meant "is there a reversing camera upgrade to the camera provided" as I have read it is not the most robust / not of the best quality.

In about a week I’ll be taking orders for our solution designed to be installed as a diy. Comes with all the tools and a full pictorial guide. Looks stock with no evidence of any disturbance.
