I watched the race again yesterday on the GT1 website and have to say that the the Astons were blistering. Yes rules are rules, but 0.8mm? Harsh indeed! As for Vitaphone, I don't think Bertolini had a great race, but Bartels had a good go at it. Was hoping to see the SportsMaserati pit crew, but was disappointed. Bartels other crew over at Hegersport just got on with it and their promotion to 4th and 6th is a bonus.

I don't think any of last year's Maser teams are competing in GT1 this season. I guess it's just the GranTurismos in GT3 (or is it 4?).

Correct, the MC12s are not racing this year (they couldn't find a second team willing to run the cars and given the rules requiring two teams per car, they couldn't participate).
