Really nice volume coming into GBP/USD @lozcb

Also note that yesterday’s candle was an (indecisive) “inside candle” - that indecision has now been resolved to the upside. Targets are the highs of the preceding candles in the 1.25 to 1.27 area. If price can get past that zone, we have a nice volume profile gap up to the 1.30 area … 101770

Your track record is better than Central banks!

“This loss, which will only get larger as interest rates increase, is more than 13 times the Federal Reserve System’s consolidated capital of $41 billion”

Seems the “experts” don’t have much (if any) expertise!

Certainly seems that way in the British Government apart from lining their own pockets mate.

It is quite amazing how inept and inefficient govts can be. With how much money they can spend and waste but still ask but also get more. I'm truly amazed people are still paying it and not reacting.

Agreed look at Council Tax. Value for money? (another thread needed)
I will be honest when the council tax went up during lockdown I was surprised it wasn’t more; imagine the national edict imposed on, let’s take a very base level, bin collections about spacing, sterilising. The sheer amount of effort, resource (both in the extra training, extra runs etc) to make that happen. Extrapolate that across all the council does and I was expecting more.

now, while I’m not denying that council waste and fu<kheadery is a thing - our is building a giant box on the river as an hq when their old one was perfectly fine - but given the relentless push downwards from central government, well…

4D went into administration last night with PI's set to lose millions. I expect the finance sector, BOD and administrators will come out OK with PI's/tax payers taking the hit again.
The world is broken.

Council tax is extortionate IMHO. If I worked a normal 38 hour week I suspect it would be about 10% of my gross salary.

I’m still Usd$ positioned.
If the Fed raises rates it strengthens and if it all falls apart it’s the “run to” currency of choice (the best rubbish in a bag of total dross).

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.....EVERY Central bank has been running a Ponzi scheme. You cannot taper a Ponzi Scheme.
Will Japan crack first? https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/j...ctable-non-linearities-financial-markets-bank

Seems to be right so far

Heads up.

Still in your pension funds?

DXY looking great, Wattie! Just a heads up that price is now sitting at the 1.272 Fibonacci extension of the Jan 17 high to Feb 18 low. This could be significant as most moves terminate at the extensions of prior swings. You'll see from the broadening formation that there is plenty of juice left in the tank, long-term. The question is whether price is at short-term exhaustion or not (i.e. whether it needs to catch its breath for a bit before resuming its upward journey). It may just carry on, who knows ... fingers crossed for you ...

Keep an eye on;
GOVX
SIGA
BAVA
EBS
In light of recent announcements
103929

Govx is certainly making some moves…..nearly tripled in a week.
As an intro…..
“A vaccine maker, the company has been developing a shot that could protect humans from monkeypox.
Monkeypox is in the spotlight today after the World Health Organization (WHO) announced over the weekend that it views the monkeypox outbreak as “a global health emergency.” The declaration means that the organization believes that “a coordinated international response” to the virus is necessary, CNBC explained.
As I reported in a previous article, the company’s CEO, David Dodd, wrote in May that the firm’s “vaccines have been validated and registered for [the] prevention of Monkeypox virus infection.” And, in the same post, Dodd specified that one of the company’s shots may stop humans from contracting monkeypox.
Elaborating in June, the CEO reported that: “We already have published in peer-reviewed journals that our MVA vaccines, in addition [to] protecting animal models against HIV and other infections, also prevents monkeypox,” He vowed that his company would “address the monkeypox virus.”

It also has Ebola and Cancer vaccines in study….

At $2 it might be worth a punt to some of you.
Im already in.

Well if you read the article it highlights numerous problems facing the Eurozone.
I may be mistaken but I don’t think any of them have been resolved…..
I won’t deny that, but it’s Not quite the day of Armageddon as billed though, was it?

It always makes sense to take a large dumper truck of salt with what ZH says because although he may chime with realities sometimes, much like ***** Fawkes, you have to take a closer look and understanding of what’s behind ZH, where it is funded and to what aims they ultimately have.

Forgot this is an American forum, the starred bit is a UK right wing political gossip website if you’re unaware, and also a slur against Italian-American men if you’re an American.

Zerohedge simply reported it so I think you’re mistaken in your analysis and any ZH intention.

The views ZH picked up on were those of two DB analysts and other strategist views from Bloomberg along with their headline!

Maybe Bloombergs aims need questioning…..
