Proudness beyond measure :) I did get the paint off mostly on Wednesday night with paint shop hand scrub and a lot off burning, thankfully that had calmed down by Saturday, just the humourous story to recant!

The whole day was just tremendous, with everyone involved pulling out all the stops to make it the best, a good family friend trained as a priest at the church so she was able to do a good bit of the ceremony even though it was not her church, Sally has been in the choir since she was 6 so we had the whole choir in attendance, likewise the bell ringers and organist gave it plenty of extra! the hall was magnificently turned out and looked better than we could have imagined when planning it. Even the weather put on a perfect performance for us....

The happy couple are now enjoying two weeks relaxing in Rhodes!

The only disappointment is that my car was too unwell to make an appearance (fluids peeing out all over the place) or we would have had a brace of Maserati on show, just couldn't chance it. I need to find where the coolant is going for starters, get the steering rack rebuilt/replaced and get under it to find out if the clutch actuator can be fitted with new seals or if that is a full replacement too :(

Which reminds me of my brother's wedding. The night before I kept him up late, not partying no, changing the rear callipers on my GTV6 which had decided to void all the brake fluid over his driveway.

It's easier to spot when they are 'well tanned' Dem, UK is never really sunny enough :) but Nick & Adam got the lion's share of Greek genes in the brood...
